We only hear and see what they want us to see on both sides. I work, I pay taxes and got a great education as an Army brat in base schools. I know there are many veterans out there wandering the streets near Grady and Piedmont Ave., they we...re drafted, served our country/gov't. and then forgotten. Not all homeless are lazy bums, the day of hobo living has changed. Are these people not worthy of a medical checkup, food and shelter of their own? Face it, American's don't care like they used to. We live in our comfort zones and try to blame the poor, mentally ill and refugees for all our problems.See More
